STOTTS. fits hearing aids from Starkey, Phonak and Widex. An HCPC-registered audiologist assesses your hearing first, then recommends a technology level and a style that suit how you actually live — and tells you honestly if you do not need one.

The price depends on the technology level, and we will tell you which level your assessment points to before you decide anything.
Your hearing assessment beforehand is always complimentary. We believe your hearing should be reviewed as regularly as your eyes and sight — so the assessment is free, whether or not you choose to go ahead with hearing aids.

Hearing aids — your questions answered
The NHS provides good-quality hearing aids free of charge, and for many people they work very well. Private care is not automatically better — it simply offers more choice: a wider range of smaller, more discreet and more advanced devices, more time at each appointment, the latest technology, and more extensive, personal aftercare over the years. Which is right depends on your hearing, your lifestyle and what matters to you. At STOTTS. your hearing assessment is complimentary either way, and we give honest advice — not a sales pitch.
There is no single "best" brand — the right hearing aid depends on your hearing, your lifestyle and your budget, not the badge. We fit Starkey (our lead brand, known for AI-driven sound processing and health features), Phonak (excellent for speech in noise and connectivity) and Widex (prized for natural, high-fidelity sound). After a full assessment we recommend the specific model and technology level that genuinely suits how you live.
Our private hearing aids start from £985 per aid, inclusive of aftercare and a 5-year warranty, with a range of options depending on your lifestyle and technology preferences. Your hearing assessment beforehand is always complimentary.
If you have hearing loss in both ears, two hearing aids usually work far better than one — they help you tell where sound is coming from, follow speech in background noise, and hear more naturally and comfortably. If only one ear is affected, a single aid may be all you need. Your audiologist will advise based on your assessment.
Modern hearing aids are remarkably discreet — many are invisible in everyday wear, and others are small, rechargeable and Bluetooth-ready. We will help you find a style that suits your ears and your life.
With proper care, most hearing aids last around four to six years. Regular servicing and aftercare — included with every fitting at STOTTS. — keep them performing at their best for as long as possible.
