Before any lens touches your eye, we talk — about your work, your screens, your hobbies, the driving you do at night and the book you read before bed. Your consultation starts by understanding how you actually use your vision, because that is what we design everything else around.
02 · The clinical examination
A complete picture of your eye health.
A thorough, unhurried assessment using advanced imaging — Optomap and OCT — to look beyond your prescription to the long-term health of your eyes, spotting subtle changes early.

How long does the consultation take?
We deliberately allow plenty of time — typically around 90 minutes — so nothing feels rushed and every recommendation is properly considered.
Do I have to buy eyewear?
Never. The consultation is about understanding your eyes and your needs. Any eyewear is entirely your choice, with no pressure.
Where is the Signature Consultation available?
It is available at our Unsworth and Urmston practices, each with a full Lens Atelier where we match lenses, coatings and tints to your day.
