Contact Lenses

Contact lenses, fitted properly.

From everyday freedom to specialist vision correction, our contact lens service is built around the eye in front of us — not a one-size-fits-all lens.

Contact lenses can offer freedom, flexibility and excellent vision — but the right result depends on the right fit. At STOTTS., we fit everything from daily disposable and multifocal lenses to Ortho-K, RGP, scleral, myopia management and bespoke specialist contact lenses.

Everyday lenses. Specialist solutions. Proper aftercare.

Contact Lens FAQs

Good to know.

What types of contact lenses do STOTTS. fit?

We fit daily disposable, reusable, extended wear, toric, multifocal, myopia management, Ortho-K, RGP, scleral and bespoke specialist contact lenses.

Can I wear contact lenses with astigmatism?

Yes. Many people with astigmatism can wear toric contact lenses or other specialist lens designs depending on their prescription and eye shape.

What is Ortho-K?

Ortho-K uses specially designed overnight lenses to gently reshape the front surface of the eye while you sleep, giving many people clear vision during the day without glasses or daytime contact lenses.

What are scleral lenses?

Scleral lenses are specialist lenses often used for complex eyes, including keratoconus, irregular corneas, post-graft eyes or cases where standard contact lenses do not provide enough comfort or clarity.

Are contact lenses suitable for children?

Some children can be suitable for contact lenses, particularly for sport, confidence or myopia management. Suitability depends on the child, prescription, maturity and clinical assessment.

Can contact lenses help with myopia management?

Yes. For suitable children, specialist soft contact lenses or Ortho-K may be used as part of a myopia management plan to help slow the progression of short-sightedness.

Can I try lenses before committing?

In many cases, yes. After assessing suitability, we can advise on trials, teaching, lens handling and the best wearing schedule for your eyes.
